// LESS NOISE, MORE GROWTH
I think by now we can all say that "authentic marketing" feels like generic, empty advice.
You didn't start your business to become a content hamster on a wheel, yet here we are—feeling behind if we aren't posting daily, chasing algorithms, documenting every mundane moment like it's breaking news. At the same time, our anxiety levels are through the roof as we set the example for the next generation of kids who all want to become influencers.
While the pressure to perform for the algorithm feels like it's at an all-time high, there's a quiet rebellion happening. It's happening in email inboxes instead of feeds. In referral conversations, instead of comments. In long-term relationships, instead of quick conversions.
The quiet rebellion isn't about doing less marketing. It's about connecting in ways that actually matter and building relationships that last instead of just filling feeds.
THE EXHAUSTION ECONOMY
Here's the thing: the attention economy thrives on your exhaustion.
Think about it...tired business owners buy more courses, more tools, more "solutions" to problems that didn't exist before we started playing their game.
As I've entered the world of product development, I came across this quote that couldn't be more true.
"The most common error of smart engineers is to optimize a thing that should not exist." - (full clip here)
And here we are, optimizing the hell out of something that doesn’t need to exist in the first place. I think we are collectively missing the mark. Instead of buying Canva templates that dilute our branding or purchasing the course from the designer who claims to have made $1 million from Canva templates, we're solving the wrong problem.
The answer isn’t more.
Imagine if you focused all of that energy on serving your clients rather than feeding the insatiable algorithm.
What if instead of optimizing your posting schedule, you optimized your client experience?
What if instead of A/B testing subject lines, you simply had conversations with the people who already trust you?
I've been there. Buying the 30-page PDF to map out my content that hits the "know, like, trust" checkboxes while being entertaining, educational, and thought-provoking. To then not post anything because I was stuck overthinking and found more comfort in my client work.

Next week, I'll share the weird contradiction we're all living—and why it makes zero sense for the kinds of businesses we're building.
We're excited to help you build a marketing approach that gives you room to breathe, creates meaningful connections, and leaves you with more time for the things that truly matter in your life and business.
Cheers to growing your own way,
